NIV Bible Books & Audio App Reviews

Ive tried many other Bible Apps for the APP and this one beats them all.

This NIV Bible app was EXACTLY what I was looking for. With it you can listen to the Bible without using your phones 4G data plan. I used to routinely go over my data plan and got charged $20. So $5 for this app was a bargain. The text of the Bible resides on your phone. It takes 1.37 GB of space (quite a bit- 8% of my 16 GB phone storage) but worth it. Narrator is very well spoken.

I cant get this app to load on my ipod

I cannot tolerate this mans voice. Too deep, too accented, and too dramatic. I seriously cannot listen to him speak. Deleting this app from my phone. Will keep looking for a better audio version.

I travel weekly and the audio portion is so amazing. I am learning Gods word while on my way to my home and job. The reader is wonderful with passion not jus boring monotones. I love this app and hope you will too. Perfect for iPhone.

I am 46 years old and have had ADHD all my life. I discovered this app a few months ago and what an answer to a prayer! Since Ive never been disciplined enough to sit down and read the Bible through, this app has allowed me to "read" scripture on a daily basis. I am currently in Jeremiah. I am amazed at Gods power and love! I love it that I can go to any scripture I want instantly, whether to listen to it or to read it. Its the Bible I can take with me everywhere and its the one I use in church service (on the read mode). Im going to install this app on my sons iPod touch so I can have him "read" the Bible daily, even if its in 10-15 min increments. I highly recommend this app!

I enjoy this app, especially listening to the Word while driving and exercising/walking. I recommend an update to functionality however, to allow pause / restart from the lock screen as it doesnt seem to currently be available. Otherwise, this is a good and useful app.

I bought this app because it was recommended to me, unfortunately, the app only have Genesis and nothing else. I emailed the app support and told about the problem and did not hear any word from them.

It is advertised to offer search, highlighting, margin notes, and bookmarking, but after purchase I find none of this is in the app.

Right now Im giving this one star because it will not load on my iPad. Either it takes a VERY long time to load or there is a problem with it. Looks like half will load and then it just sits there. I hope I didnt just blow $5. Okay, so I deleted and restarted the install and checked on it after about 90 minutes and it finally installed. So far it seems nice so I will up the rating to 4 stars.

I initially gave this app 1 star due to the issues with playback. I deleted it and reloaded and the issues were resolved. It now works well.
